We are so happy to be able to continue helping the Chuk Muk preschool with more educational/ fun toys.
We also brought down more books. Here is one of our volunteers, Noba, reading a book to a very interested group of wee children.
Furthermore we would like to thank the wonderful people who donated so that we could update the cooking supplies for the preschool kitchen.
We were able to give the kitchen 3 water filters. This will save them $100 a month in water purchases. This will enable them to buy more food for the children. This is a preschool that helps children that are at risk of malnutrition. Therefore having more money for food and a the tools to cook with is very important.
We also purchased large tables, blenders, cutlery, large bowls, pressure cooker, cutting boards, frying pans and very large stainless steel pots.
We also repaired their wall sockets.
The cook and the teaching assistant were so very thankful that they gave me a hand woven and embroidered guipil ( top).
