It is wonderful news that the Guatemalan government is now giving very basic school supplies to every elementary student in Guatemala. This will help increase accessibility to education to even the poorest student.
Many of these students, however, do not have safe way to get their supplies to school, especially in the rainy season.
We are pleased to be able to supply wonderful water resistant backpacks to the students in the Chuk Muk Elementary School that did not have a backpack.
