Now that schools have been up and running for over a month our tutoring program is working in full force.
The Aldea Maya tutoring program is coordinated and run by our 22 university students. They all volunteer their time and develop the programs.
We have been sponsoring students for the last 14 years in this part of Guatemala. It is excellent that these students are now helping the newer students to succeed in school.
We are being totally proactive and helping the students every week before the education difficulties get to large to handle.
