Two of our students, Miriam and Rosa participated in nutrition classes in March with a Registered Dietitian from Proyecto CAN. They were taught how to teach about basic nutrition and cooking classes. Today they taught 4 of our middle school students about avoiding processes food and soda drinks and the concept of complete protein.

The students then made a nutritious vegetable chicken soup and cucumber juice.

The students then went home with organic vegetables from our garden.
