Was able to talk to Gaspar …the Basico Director.. and organize that he would send ALDEA MAYA pictures of the students with the report cards the minute they received them. This will be a big help. Also found out that the students need another book for Basico. Tried to get the book in Santiago but was not successful. I will try in Panajachel.
We had a few pairs of new shoes for the grade ones that were sick on the days we handed out shoes.
One of these children was little Cristobal. He was soo excited to get new shoes that he kept running around the school with his new shoes on and the biggest smile on his face.
